INDORE : Chronobiologist Rajshekhar Chawla has been felicitated at ALMA office for his matchless contribution to society by Asiatic Liberal Multifarious Association (ALMA) in gracious presence of the guests as Shri J.N. Prasad (Nephew of India’s first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad), Smt. Mala Vajpayee Tiwari (Nephew of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee) and Shri Randeep Singh Kohli (Grandson of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh). This was informed by the director of ALMA Shri Santosh Shukla Advocate. Shri Rajshekhar Chawla has been bestowed with the 'Bharat Gaurav Swami Vivekanand Samman' for his outstanding contribution to the nation. He was given shawl, Shriphal and a certificate. On this occasion, Shri Chawla said that Chronobiology is a field of biology that examines periodic (cyclic) phenomena in living organisms and their adaptation to solar- and lunar-related rhythms. These cycles are known as biological rhythms. It is a special the branch of biology concerned with cyclical physiological phenomena. Chronobiology could be beneficial for well being of people and their health. On being honored with Bharat Gaurav Swami Vivekanand Samman, he was congratulated by members of ALMA Family.
