Mumbai: Ministry Women and Child and National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) organized "Sensitization Training Programme on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Civil Society Organization at Yuva Center, Navi Mumbai Maharashtra. On this occasion, Shri Priyank Kanoongo, Member NCPCR Guest of the programme discussed about the relevance of CSR for Social Development.Shri Pravin Shivajirao Ghuge, Chairperson MSCPCR was the Chief Guest who discussed relevance of CSR for Nations Development. Shri Sumit Duggal, NIPCCD Indore, Course Director of the programme, emphasized and advocated the platform where Civil Society Organizations may join with Corporate/ PSU/ Govt and get CSR and work for Nations Development.Shri Duggal shed the light on impact and all the relevant aspect of the CSR and focused upon corporate CSR. He talked how it is not just give and take but win-win situation for all stakeholders. He also discussed about mandatory and voluntary aspect of Corporate Social Responsibility. In this training program 54 participants from civil society organizations of western region states attended including state participation of Ms Rajpal Kaur, Additional Director, Integrated Child Development Services ICDS Bhopal.Resource person came from National CSR HUB, TATA Foundation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Lmtd, Dubai Port Trust, NCPCR, NIPCCD.
